The Seattle League of Arts was formed in 1964. Member artists show and sell their works in the greater Seattle area. The purpose of the organization is to encourage artists with art demonstrations, shows and workshops. It is a small, friendly and supportive group.
The club meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month: refreshments and socializing at 7:00, business and program starts at 7:30 p.m., at Wedgwood Presbyterian Church, 8005 35th N.E.,Seattle, Washington. Meetings include critiques, art demonstrations, display of paintings, and discussions of current shows and museum exhibits. Each year the club participates in a yearly show at the Seattle Center.
There is no meeting in July because of the shows that month. The August meeting is a picnic .

1. Active members are those who have submitted five current and framed works which are voted on for acceptance by the membership at a regular meeting.
2. Associate members do not vote or exhibit, but are included in all other activities.
